Olga Tolstikova is a contemporary Russian artist. She graduated from the A. N. Kosygin Moscow State Textile University in 1987. She was a member of the Moscow Union of Artists between 1988–2019 and a participant in the annual exhibitions of the Russian Union of Artists. For more than ten years she has participated in international tapestry exhibitions in Como, Italy. Her personal exhibitions were held in Poland, France, Russia, and some other countries. She was awarded the Silver Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts for the creation of a series of tapestries in 1998-2001; she was awarded the main prize of the jury of the creative competition of women artists of Russia in 2000. She was awarded the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts in 2013 for the creation of a series of tapestries. Her works are in the State Museum of the Heroic Defense and Liberation of Sevastopol (Sevastopol, Krimea), the Museum of Artistic Textiles (Como, Italy), the Museum of Modern Art (Russia, Moscow), the Vologda State Museum-Reserve (in the Kremlin of Vologda city, Russia), in the art fund of the Union of Artists of Russia and in other collections around the world.
