Born in 1964 in Córdoba, Argentina, Miri Baruch lives since 1979 with her family in Israel. After her studies in biophysical chemistry she worked for 27 years at Intel. Inspite of her scientific and hi-tech background, art and specifically painting became more and more important. In 2015 she started to attend drawing classes and several realistic oil painting workshops. During this time, she realized that her major curiosity and attraction was to abstract art compositions. Currently, she creates mainly abstracts paintings in oil and acrylic, and sometimes also portraiture and female nude studies. Some of her paintings are exhibited at a few galleries in Israel.
